Nathan Adkisson is a creative director in New York City.
His work focuses on large-scale, transformative experiences in public space.
He is a Director at the National Design Award-winning studio Local Projects. Recently, his team led the development of Planet Word, a 50,000 square-foot museum in Washington, D.C. Upon opening in Spring 2020, it became the world’s largest experience exploring the effects of language on humanity.
He serves on the board of the Museum Computer Network and the SS Columbia Project and holds visiting faculty positions at the Pratt Institute and the School of Visual Arts.
